I think B3/S23-e is one of my favourite rules, and I was reaffirmed this when I discovered this 11c/180 puffer in my D4_+2 searches:
x = 3, y = 33, rule = B3/S23-e
3o$2bo$2bo$bo26$bo$2bo$2bo$3o!

If people could search C1, and D4_+2, that would be lovely. The C1 search is ~4.2x faster than the D4_+2 search, but both are extremely fast. (~367 for C1, ~86 for D4_+2)

EDIT: Also, unlike other rules with sideways rakes, the aforementioned puffer only takes around 5 seconds to identify, so it doesn't nuke your RAM. Also there's a knightship and a p80 oscillator.

In descending order, I find the fact that the following spaceships have not yet appeared in b026s1/1x256 quite surprising:

x = 72, y = 9, rule = B026/S1

Anyone care to lend a bunch of helping hands?

That's xq77_e4r, BTW. Haven't yet seen it in C1, but naturally it's very common in D2_+1.

Try B2n3-cqr4aenqtyz5-acny6cei7c/S2-ik3ijknr4aei5nqr6ak (Not the exploding rule I posted in unrecognized CA).
The p254 gun still works:
x = 18, y = 3, rule = B2n3-cqr4aenqtyz5-acny6cei7c/S2-ik3ijknr4aei5nqr6ak
2bo12bo$obo12bobo$b2o12b2o!

p356:
x = 5, y = 5, rule = B2n3-cqr4aenqtyz5-acny6cei7c/S2-ik3ijknr4aei5nqr6ak
o2bo$o2bo$2o2bo$o2bo$o2bo!

Nearly statorless p5:
x = 7, y = 7, rule = B2n3-cqr4aenqtyz5-acny6cei7c/S2-ik3ijknr4aei5nqr6ak
4obo$o2bo2bo$o2bo$7o$3bo2bo$o2bo2bo$bob4o!
I have the best signature ever.

B2i34city/S23-r has potential
B2e3ikq5ry/S12-in3eijr5i has a small c/9d that can support a puffer

If that ever gets a name, it'll have to be called "CityLife". ;) I'll contribute a few hours.

Can you increase the haul size a little, maybe to 1000000 at least? You're uploading a single haul in less than a minute.

What are the slowest ships you can get to show up in B2cek4ejt5aj6c/S123a5i and B2cen4i6a/S12aen3r4a5c, the two newly discovered adjustable diagonal rules?

With apgluxe, now we can skim through the interesting rules again, much quicker.
I suggest tlife and variants to start off with.

EDIT: I didn't want to make a massive deal of it but b2i3-ekq4eijyz5cek6cn7es2-n3-aey4aceky5ijkq has already brought about 5 different spaceship speeds, two big high period oscillators (one of them with gutter diagonal symmetry!!!) and shows great potential :)

Sure, I'll contribute some CPU time.

BTW, as above -- could you be so kind and use larger hauls, i.e. submit results less often? There's an unspoken gentlemen's agreement to not overload Catagolue. Nobody benefits if the site goes down; and even if it does not exceed its quota, Calcyman has to pay for it, and the more we can lighten the load (while still getting the same overall results), the better.

What if someone searches B2-a5/S135678? Will the huge still lifes be counted?

Sorry for my hauls with only a few 10000s soups. Since drc told me the first time, I have intended to do this only with rules that tend to 1D explode. It has happened before (stuck at "Failed to detect periodic behaviour!") and I had to stop a 600000 soup haul, so I think that there should be t least an option to either skip those soups upon request (ie. by typing something) or to upload the haul up to that point.

By the way, drc, wouldn't searching that rule actually be very memory-intensive and have loads of objects?
