Reporting a negative result on gfind, 3c/7 (all symmetries) l170 (w12 equivalent). I'm not planning to run any more searches soon in this direction, due to concerns for my computer's safety and my own sanity. Even bilateral seems to be the most promising symmetry -- one of the partials there made it to depth 153 (at least), while the highest depth elsewhere was 107 for odd bilateral, which seems about equivalent to gutter in terms of promise.

Reporting a negative search result for c/6 orthogonal, even symmetry, width 20, using gfind. It took over a hundred hours of CPU time, so it's probably not a good idea to try width 22. I don't have a partial, unfortunately.

Kind of embarrassing on my part. Spent maybe a week working on it without noticing that those two p3840 guns end up in the wrong phase on the second cycle. (Cutting them to p1920 would work, I think, but that period isn't high enough to avoid hitting the sawtooth block.) The thing could maybe be fixed with a mechanism that... I don't know, deletes every second escaping c/2 and replaces it by a "dummy" pull block with the proper spacing? But really at this point I think I'm just going to scrap everything and start over with better pre-planning. I'd forgotten how easy this rule is to work with, by the way. Between the p160 and T-glider it's basically CGoL on easy mode. (Plus there's no need to worry about gencols not being agreeable!)
