I ran it for 12M generations and didn't see any turmites building highways. However, you can never be sure. This pattern takes over 27M generations to stabilize:
x = 29, y = 3, rule = Turmite_180121020081

Also, I like the crawlers you found in Savannah!

Btw, those "crawlers" were large, rake-based natural oblique spaceships.

A savanna ship is extensible:

Any p7s suitable for this?

This made my day:

EDIT: Somewhat close rule with the c/4 arrow, a twins puffer, a sparky c/2 orthogonal, a 4-cell flipper, and a tiny breeder. Not explosive, at least in most soups.

I made a nonexplosive rule to suit a spaceship emitted by a rakes smaller than it, then thought of changing up the rulestring.
The result? A rule which supports at least 4 tiny ships, and for which both octagon II and a rather large barge are common.

Assuming you’re asking whether it ever stabilizes as opposed to whether it even [something], no— that’s a binary counter, like this:
x = 126, y = 11, rule = B2a3ir4i/S

Where SSes represent 0s and no-SSes represent 1s.

A rule inspected by Saka in topic "Smallest Spaceships Supporting Specific Speeds (5s) Project":
http://conwaylife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2892&start=600#p79480

Played a while, and despite it is a stable rule, it is rich in spaceships and interesting reactions.

Is it possible to prove that spaceships exist of all speeds in a rule that has at least one spaceship?

If you mean any rule, no.
There are no (n/2)+1c/no ships in any rules without B2a or B3i.
Also, post in the appropriate thread next time.
If you don't mean relativistic speeds, still probably no for most rules.
I bet that in the next decade nobody will find a 99999c/200000 ship in life, and I doubt anybody will prove one exists for awhile either.

There HAS to be a caber tosser based on this in some rule:
x = 186, y = 187, rule = B2-a/S13ary
o$o2bo$bo6$b2o2$bo174$183b2o$185bo$183bo!

For instance, in this relative, the block is a tiny reflector and highway robber:
x = 8, y = 14, rule = B2-a/S13ary4-ar
5bo$6b2o11$2o$2o!

P94:

I like the B2-a/S12ary4q rulespace.

Eater:

x = 7, y = 13, rule = B2-a/S13ary4-ar
b2o$b2o4$bo$o$o3$5b2o2$5bo!

Additionally, there are many small periods. Many are natural too.

I vote we call B2-a/S13ary4-ar robbedlife in reference to the small highway robber/reflector.

Btw robbedlife searches fast.

Perhaps I should start a thread for it.
I'll wait.
Either someone else who likes the rule creates a thread or I do later.

Amusingly there is no xp11 bin... but there is an xp66 bin containing a trivial oscillator involving the p11!

EDIT:
yup, and 3 oscs too:

There are a few ships. The most common ships I have already posted. Here is a c/6d featuring a ship being pulled along by two shapeshifting dominoes.

There's also this nontrivial c/4d:

There are currently no known orthogonal ships.

I'm surprised this rule searches fast-- given that there are a gazillion high period oscs and catagolue doesn't separate trivial combinations of objects you'd think that It'd be covered in PATHOLOGICALS but there isn't so much as one of them.

Another isotropic rule proven omniperiodic, well done. Does anyone have a list of such rules?

In this rule a B evolves into a rotating edge gun:

And here it's a hopeless failedrep:

Nearly-dry version has this:
x = 4, y = 3, rule = B34z7e/S234z
2bo$b3o$2obo!

There are a few of this across many rules but this is far dirtier than most I've seen.
Relative w/ several puffers:
x = 15, y = 40, rule = B34z7e/S234z7e8

In one of Moosey's rules are tons of really long lasting methuselahs, and this one lasts 27,871,939,396,739,043,039,106 gens:
x = 54, y = 46, rule = B2a3jry4iy5y/S

I and wildmyron manage the 5S project, which collects all known spaceship speeds in Isotropic Non-totalistic rules.

Things to work on:
- Find a (7,1)c/8 ship in a Non-totalistic rule
- Finish a rule with ships with period >= f_e_0(n) (in progress)
