Its 3d conway game of life but its 2d with height being represented with colors. The binary representation of the hex representation of of the colors, tell what cells at what height are alive or dead. 0 means dead 1 means alive. so the color of 000000000000000000000000 (thats 24 zeroes) means all cells are dead but a color of 000000000000000000000001 (23 zeroes and the last number is a one), means the bottom cell is alive and all cells at the top of it are dead.

By using all rgb colors, you will have a height of 24, because 2^24 = 256*256*256.

3d game of life is a little confuse to watch, with height and their states being represented by color, you maybe would make it become less confuse.

This rule would have 16777216 states.
Golly currently only supports rules with up to 256 states.
However, you *could* do a simple 1-bit RGB to get height 3, and possibly have the rule act on a 4D torus to get superstring-type action, if desired.

Can someone generate me a ruletable for the rule B2c3ae4ai5iy6c_S2-kn3iyjr4ict?

I'm away from home and will be for a few more days, and the mobile version of golly still doesn't directly support non-totalistic rules.

EDIT: one for B2c3aj4nrt5i6c7e_S1c2-en3enr4aet5cey6c7e as well?

But does there exist a pattern in this rule or a similar rule which allows patterns to shrink as well, allowing for yet another 1-state isotropic adjustable-spaceship-speeds rule?

I tried that but the left edge keeps expanding like in normal w110. I want something like the b0126/s1 thing.

Requesting 2 similar rules. I had an idea and want to test to see if those rules would produce good results.

RULE 1
3 states

DEAD
SINGLE
COUPLE

Rules:

DEAD become SINGLE, if it has:
3 SINGLE neighbours ONLY
OR
(1 SINGLE neighbour with also 1 COUPLE neighbour ) ONLY

DEAD become DEAD at all other situations:

SINGLE become SINGLE if it has:
2 SINGLE neighbours

SINGLE become COUPLE if it has
3 SINGLE neighbours ONLY
OR
(1 SINGLE neighbour with also 1 COUPLE neighbour) ONLY

SINGLE become dead at all other situations

COUPLE become COUPLE if it has:
1 SINGLE neighbours ONLY

2 SINGLE neighbours ONLY

Are there any other extremely small (preferably symmetric or glide symmetric) spaceships (<20 cells) that can exist, with these four spaceships still functioning in said rule?

I want a rule where one state is normal life. the second state is life, but cannot die, and can only reproduce into state one.
Another rule idea I had was like the 'multiple universes' rule stated above, but the yellow cells live for 1 extra generation, ex. a domino would die like this:
x = 2, y = 1, rule = 23/3/3
2A!
x = 8, y = 10, rule = B3/S23
3b2o$3b2o$2b3o$4bobo$2obobobo$3bo2bo$2bobo2bo$2bo4bo$2bo4bo$2bo!

No football of any dui mauris said that.

A rule where state one is a rule that stabilizes quickly, and state 2 is a mildly explosive rule, eg. seeds. The twist is that every cell born is the opposite state, so a cell born from Seeds is a LowDeath cell, and every cell born from LowDeath is a Seeds cell. those are just examples though.

another rule I would like to see is LIfe, but if a cell is born from, say, this formation of cells:
x = 3, y = 3, rule = B3/S23
2bo$o$o!
That cell can no longer reproduce with other cells in that specification, you could even say it is deficient in a sense. it's probably boring, but I do believe that the normal glider should work(?)
EDIT: it happens with all specifications.

I would do it myself, but rule tables make no sense to me.
