For sake of brevity, rules with B0 or B1 will not be included

Decided to split them up since the failed ones were taking up some space. You can find them here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2409

CommonRepl (B3/S23-ac4eiy6): orthogonal, true

Code: Select all

x = 5, y = 5, rule = B3/S23-ac4eiy6

I wonder, are there any oblique quadratic replicators?

Here you are:

Code: Select all

This is a two state, isotropic, non-totalistic rule on the Moore neighbourhood.
The notation used to define the rule was originally proposed by Alan Hensel.

nice.

I decided to create a rule mashup with the rules with true replicators. Still waiting for that wlife rule table, or at least to get back home to generate it.

Code: Select all

var x=3
var a={0,1,2,3}

var h=a

What would be nice, is if there was a way to simulate some pseudo-3D "layered" behaviour in the ruletable.

So like:
0 = dead
1 = B3578/S23
2 = B3-c/S123i4a
3 = CommonRepl
4 = B3578/S23 and B3-c/S123i4a
5 = B3578/S23 and CommonRepl
6 = B3-c/S123i4a
7 = All three rules

Whoops didn't see that...

Tried to delete it, but doesn't really work.

Guess I can only delete newest post.

BTW, I don't perfectly understand why B0/B1 should not be included? For they don't necessary explode all the time. Are there simply too many of them?
