The rule B2ce3ce4ce5ce6ce/S2a345 seems to give high object variation, and 10000-soup hauls aren't too big for catagolue. It does take a good while to search though.

So apparently you can actually search DryLife using apgsearch, assuming you set your haul size to 1 and reset it every so often when it hits a chaotic soup.

You can (and this works for any rule), but you really shouldn't. You're just skewing the data, severely.

(IIRC, Calcyman previously said that the "1 soup haul" exception was created to allow him to submit correction hauls to B3/S23/C1 when a bug in the Python script's switch-engine detection was found about two years ago. That's all it's there for, and you shouldn't use it as a trick to get around the minimums Catagolue usually imposes. They're there for a reason.)

It's statistically improbable, requiring 54 cells to have a specific state in a (C1) soup, with a probability (if my math is sound) of 11/2^51, assuming that each cell has a probability of 1/2 (Which I don't think is exactly true (Again, I'm not an expert, so don't quote me on this))
Considering 2^51 is over 2 quadrillion I doubt that this will happen anytime soon, although the rule will likely be insanely fast (the only limit is memory).
Can someone try searching B2i3-ck/S02-i3-ck? It has a small c/3 and 13c/39 puffer (in addition to the stuff already there)

B35678/S is an extremely easy and fast rule to apgsearch, even on the Python version. On my apgmera, individual hauls of 100,000,000 soups can rack up just about a million objects each.

We could all spam search this to check for three things:

1. Aside from xp2 and xp4, are there any other periods of naturally occuring phoenixes?

2. Can phoenixes of odd periods exist?

3. Can we crash Catagolue with it?

B3/S23 1x256X2+1(Also, it has a very high object-to-soup ratio, as I'm past 5000000000 objects, but not even at 100000000 soups.)

That kind of came off as rude, and I frankly, along with most of the Life community (can't speak for them though), just don't find that rule that interesting.

In order to get any traction, you must demonstrate common intricacies.
