Well, hope that the following questions might deserve a new topic, but till they are:

All plausible generalizations of Neumann-neighbourhood - on which grids exist such cellular automata that can be realized on euclydean or on hyperbolic finite-dimensional spaces?

This is solved problem in geometry, the list of possible graphs (in hyperbolic cases only compacts count):

  1. -dim.: total 1: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_regular_polytopes_and_compounds#One_dimension_.28apeirogons.29
  2. -dim.:
  3. -dim.: 1 euclydean {4,3,4} and 4 compact hyperbolic tessellations: {3,5,3}, {4,3,5}, {5,3,4}, and {5,3,5}
  4. -dim.: 3 eucl. ({4,3,3,4}, {3,3,4,3}, {3,4,3,3}) and 5. compact hyp. {3,3,3,5}, {5,3,3,3}, {4,3,3,5}, {5,3,3,4}, {5,3,3,5}

"There are no compact regular tessellations of hyperbolic space of dimension 5 or higher and no paracompact regular tessellations in hyperbolic space of dimension 6 or higher."
And in E^n, n>=5, there is a tessellation, which leads to Z^n grid.

Reduced the possible Turing-complete elementary cellular automata candidates. There are 88 really distinct ones, but the following are idempotent, stabilize in at most 4 generations:
