Here's one with an infinitely extensible tagalong and two wickstretchers. It travels at c/4 diagonal.

Would you count this oscillator as a counterfeit? It has all the normal phases of a normal glider:

That one's really good. It looks like a normal glider flying around in a circle.

It actually only needs to be two transitions away from regular CGoL:
x = 3, y = 3, rule = B3/S1e2-e3
b2o$obo$2bo!


Cvojan's more complicated rule has the advantage of not being explosive, however. It also has a natural c/34 diagonal spaceship that in a few phases features a glider, though it is not very common:
x = 3, y = 5, rule = B2k37/S1e2an3-k6n78

I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but that c/34d spaceship is a Spaceship made of Oscillators:
