Attempted exponential growth class of infinite growth

Post by wwei23 » July 4th, 2017, 5:30 pm

These are usually puffers that spit out copies of themselves, hence a replicator. These then crash into each other(eventually, anyway(referring to puffers spitting out themselves, but kind of the same for others)) and limit the growth to quadratic(usually, anyway). One is my signature:

Code: Select all

x = 3, y = 3, rule = B3/S234y
2bo$3o$bo!
Another was discovered by toroidalet:

Code: Select all

x = 14, y = 5, rule = B3-q/S234y
2o$2o$11b3o$11bobo$11bobo!
Edit:
The second one eventually goes really far left but not right.
Edit: Yet another found by toroidalet:

Code: Select all

x = 4, y = 4, rule = B2n3-j5y/S234i
b3o$bobo2$2o!
EDIT:
Here's another:

Code: Select all

x = 5, y = 3, rule = B34j/S23
b3o$o2bo$2o2bo!
