Interest in this rule faded rather quickly.
I am intrigued as to whether any sawtooth patterns could be constructed in this rule, as it has a weird stability to it that suggests suitable push/pull reactions are much less likely.

I remember an old Life sawtooth that sent out gliders at a bouncer and used the reflected stream to eat the initial one instead of a pull reaction but with the particular speeds known in this rule that wouldn't work.

I really think this deserves more attention. It is better than leaplife, though selfconstruting circutry is much, much harder than Einstein, but muuuch easier than life(just 2 zs and a simple still life for the splitter, and a single z fpr reflect/shift)due to the spitter and reflector. Anyway, add a new signal to the list, p17 gun from converter. All the parts actually work at p16, but sadly the repeat time of c/4 is 17. While the 2g-c/4 method works fine for the skewed c/4, the g-to-skewed c/4 is likely quite a bit larger, due to the 2 gliders not being symmetrical, and I'm still not good enough at these constructions to do that(maybe I'll give it a try later).
