Very nice! I couldn't find many perturbations that didn't destroy the rake, although I did find a p16 c/2 rake based off of it:

I just don't know how to clean it.

I believe, and don't quote me on this, that it's a prime number generator (2, 3, 5, 7, 11...)

EDIT: Confirmed. That's an incredible discovery. (Disregard the first 3 ships emitted.)
EDIT: They're all out of phase though, which is unfortunate.
EDIT: Wait, I think it takes longer to generate each prime, so all the ships ARE out of phase.
Life is hard. Deal with it.

Yeah, that seems to be something else entirely. Up to 17 it's good but after that it seemingly gives up on the whole "prime number" thing. Of course, the fact that the ships are out of sync with each other makes it even harder to tell what sequence is being generated.

Here are a few terms of the numerical sequence being generated, though I'm not sure how exactly they're being calculated or whether they're on the OEIS in some form:
