Did you mean 2c/10 diagonal?

No, 2c/10 orthogonal is correct. This is a hexagonal grid, remember?

What makes a ship diagonal in a hexagonal rule, then?

Is there any script to convert hexagonal rules into gfind ruletables?
Things to work on:
- Find a (7,1)c/8 ship in a Non-totalistic rule (someone please search the rules)
- Find a C/10 in JustFriends
- Find a C/10 in Day and Night

You can generate ruletab entries for gfind with EricG's script For-gfind-from-WeightedLife.py. This will only work for outer-totalistic hexagonal rules which can be easily expressed in WeightedLife notation. I expect it wouldn't be too hard to adapt the For-gfind-from-HenselNotation.py script to isotropic hexagonal rules, but I'm not aware of anyone having done so.
The latest version of the 5S Project contains over 57,000 spaceships. Tabulated pages up to period 160 are available on the LifeWiki.
