I doubt that kind of tech is practical or even possible. The c/4d velocity of the glider seems too slow, where it simply can't get into and out of a reaction fast enough. I guess that the minimum repeat time of these kind of glider-hits-something-produces-something conduits is about 30. However, there is a conduit which uses an almost c/2 object and produces a glider:

Edit: On second thought, there could be a reaction like the rt18 reflector which instead produces something like the c/2 signal, and that in turn could be fed into the above conduit to make a fast splitter.

I collected all the conduits that have been found in this rule, divided compound conduits apart, and organized them into vertical rows based on the object they take as input. While doing this I found an object which acts as an intermediate in certain known conduits, and separated it into it's own category within the second-rightmost column. I also found several new conduits, including two which output the 2c/4 spaceship.

Here's somewhat of a long shot: If we find a low rt G to W and a W to 2G (a la the p18 gun), we'd have all gun periods >= 18. I doubt this is possible, though, since you'd also need an odd-generation rt18 glider delay mechanism at the very least, and quite possibly an rt18 color changer as well.
I doubt that kind of tech is practical or even possible. The c/4d velocity of the glider seems too slow, where it simply can't get into and out of a reaction fast enough. Edit: On second thought, there could be a reaction like the rt18 reflector which instead produces something like the c/2 signal, and that in turn could be fed into the above conduit to make a fast splitter.

Edit 2:
I collected all the conduits that have been found in this rule, divided compound conduits apart, and organized them into vertical rows based on the object they take as input. While doing this I found an object which acts as an intermediate in certain known conduits, and separated it into it's own category within the second-rightmost column. I also found several new conduits, including two which output the 2c/4 spaceship.

Nice stuff. Regarding the new object, it is known - it appears on gen 17 in the first pattern in this thread and I remember using it for a glider synthesis, but this is the first time conduits have been made for it.
