I made a rule where the extended states would act on their own life rules instead of being indestructible. They are not affected by the normal life cells in any way.

the rule has some interesting dynamics. Spaceships the other states acts like puffers; still-lifes creates oscillators; guns make chaos
I did manage to find stable spaceships involving both states

a thing is that most oscillators based on basic still-lifes (like a loaf) are fantastic eaters that eats everything

This is an interesting take on ExtendedLife, but I think using on-forcer and toggle-forcer as the two cell types makes the dynamics rather chaotic.
Could you make a variant where the two extended cells are the always-on and always-off?
