The addition of B5 to the original Game of life still produces a complicated rule. Ironically, it's more stable. Here is a pattern collection:

I looked into this rule a bit more and I found that both the pi heptomino and r pentomino die off very rapidly and completely in this rule. THe lumps of muck reaction lasts awhile but it too dies off completely. I bet that's why this rule is so stable. Nice find on the spaceships btw

One of your P3s can perturb a small object:

The beehive explosion seems fairly versatile for engineering. I found a p26 loop, possibly useful as a sparker:

Also what patterns from Life still work in "5life"? The smallest four p2 do, as do the phoenices, and Octagon II. Any other shared oscillators?

Simple still lifes that remain:

—tub/barge series

—aircraft carrier (and its siamizations with snakes)
—pond and lakes
—mango
—table/cap (on themselves; not stabilizable by a block)

A "long cap" works as a 3-cell induction coil, but it needs a tub for stabilization at the other end. This allows for a spark coil variant:

With the exception of the P82, these were all found by running large amounts of random symmetrical soups, and keeping track of the cumulative count for each object type in each symmetry type (I could post up the results of these so far, in the unlikely event that anyone's interested).

Pulsars are much rarer in this rule than in B3/S23, but still occur in the wild:

I've also noticed in 23/35 that the P2 Washing Machine occurs occasionally (about half as frequently as the pulsar), but as far as I can remember it hasn't been seen in regular Life:
