We're running out of material.
The only known reflectors that could extract a signal from that glider, given the available space, are very expensive staged recovery devices using a bait object...
A hand is any object used as a slow salvo target by a construction arm.
It is possible to construct larger emulators, but they require stabilizing objects to suppress their non-sparks and so are of little use (except for the overweight T-nose.
Hit the nearer, southwest, duplicated elbow block with a stream of 17 gliders to produce a Snark-destroying return glider directly in the channel.
The term may also be used to describe the rate of increase in the number of subpatterns present in a pattern, such as when describing a replicator's rate of reproduction.
These are used because the difficulty of finding previously unknown objects, especially in Life, now commonly exceeds the patience, speed, and accuracy of humans.
EDIT:
A pufferfish spaceship is, generally, any spaceship constructed using pufferfish.

Q: How many gliders does it take to destroy a 0E0P metacell?
A: Zero -- it self-destructs in 2^36 generations.

EDIT: Corrected # of generations

We should also be able to destroy anything (and not just glider constructible things) in 35 gliders via RCT as well.

Although your avatar on the flyleaf might deter some young readers. Why does she look like she's just been stabbed?

Q) How can a still life be moving?
A1) Use a glider:

Code: Select all

x = 15, y = 10, rule = B3/S23
bo$2bo$3o6$13b2o$13b2o!
A2) Appreciate it with emotion, e.g. enjoy your natural 57-bitter that has just appeared in a B3S23/C1 soup.
A3) After that, name it "moving".

If it's heaven, then why the '''''hell''''' are people there being chained to ugly people for all eternity? Makes you wonder if the Devil really is down there*.
Why, if God were alive today**, He'd be an atheist.

*Of course, the Devil isn't real. Just like Santa Claus, he's really your parents.

**From Kurt Vonnegut's unfinished novel of the same name, posted posthumously in We are what we pretend to be. I highly recommend it for high-school-age-plus-people-

Because the user's signature is a spam link.
It's EXTREMELY WELL HIDDEN spam-- to paraphrase dani:
Spambots are getting smarter every day

@tim96532 I sincerely apologize for suspecting that you are a spambot if you are not; the "source:" thing made the signature look odd.

I'm not entirely sure what "mangazuki" translates to (due to homophones and such), but the website appears to be a service in which one can read Japanese comic books (manga), which might not necessarily be a spambot-y thing to do.
(American translation: a streaming service, but for Japanese comic books instead of movies/TV shows.)

Speaking of streaming services, what do they have in common with nuclear weapons?

We don't want them proliferating!
(Also, the US has recently moved toward spreading of them.)
It almost makes you want them all to merge into one mega-corporation where you only have to pay one subscription.

 I think there has been enough spambots on this website to make me a little hostile to everything that seems so much as a tad out of place.
The main reason I felt it was odd was that their signature read "source: mangazuki.com" which seems to suggest that they are attributing everything they will post to there-- comics, regardless of where they come from, seem like an awfully insufficient source when it comes to an obscure mathematical subject. You'd think they'd add that link to the post, but it may be just because they don't know about the edit button.
I remember reading a thread where something like this has happened before.
@tim96532: there's a button saying "EDIT"; if you use it it lets you edit your post.
