The Life Universe

Here is a small minigame.

On each post, we can place a cell anywhere we want.
You cannot post twice in a row.
Between posts we will advance 1 generation.
The goal? Get as high of a population as possible. If a pattern dies we will restart with the starter.

The starter:
x = 2, y = 2, rule = B3/S23

Seems like it would be nice to see the before and after stages of the pattern. Here are generations 0 and 1, and a candidate Gen 2:

A rule should be added where dots have to directly affect the pattern. No adding dots fricking 1000 cells away from the pattern.
