## The Life Universe

A forum where anything goes. Introduce yourselves to other members of the forums, discuss how your name evolves when written out in the Game of Life, or just tell us how you found it. This is the forum for "non-academic" content.

### The Life Universe

Here is a small minigame.

On each post, we can place a cell anywhere we want.
You cannot post twice in a row.
Between posts we will advance 1 generation.
The goal? Get as high of a population as possible. If a pattern dies we will restart with the starter.

The starter:
x = 2, y = 2, rule = B3/S232o$2o! Life is hard. Deal with it. My favorite oscillator of all time: x = 7, y = 5, rule = B3/S2-i3-y4i4b3o$6bo$o3b3o$2o$bo! Hdjensofjfnen Posts: 1093 Joined: March 15th, 2016, 6:41 pm Location: r cis θ ### Re: The Life Universe Gen 1: x = 4, y = 2, rule = B3/S232obo$2o!
x₁=ηx
V ⃰_η=c²√(Λη)
K=(Λu²)/2
Pₐ=1−1/(∫^∞_t₀(p(t)ˡ⁽ᵗ⁾)dt)

$$x_1=\eta x$$
$$V^*_\eta=c^2\sqrt{\Lambda\eta}$$
$$K=\frac{\Lambda u^2}2$$
$$P_a=1-\frac1{\int^\infty_{t_0}p(t)^{l(t)}dt}$$

This pattern makes an interesting 3-block constellation

You literally just posted my pattern. Did you even read the initial post?

My bad, I'll fix it. 9:
x = 9, y = 9, rule = B3/S235b3o2$3b2o3bo$2bo$bo6bo$2o2b5o$b2o$2b4o\$3b2o!

Also, did you notice that I said methoDRCally searched the cell space?
