Where do you buy your memes from, by the way? That joke is definitely a nice retro holdover from 2016, if not the 20th century. In
these modern times, it would look something like this:

Proof:
Let us suppose that the Big Bang theory is true.
Then, at the start of the universe, there was a massive explosion.
Additionally, all energy in the universe was concentrated into a very small volume.
Black holes are known to exist with smaller concentrations of energy.
Thus, the energy at the start of the universe, being much more compact than an ordinary black hole, immediately became a supermassive black hole.
The black hole does not allow anything, including light, to escape.
Thus, no explosion, including a massive, universe-creating explosion, could occur.※
Consequently, the supposition that the Big Bang theory is true leads to a contradiction.
As such, the opposite — namely, that the Big Bang theory is false — must be true.
General relativity isn't that simple unfortunately. That's all I know enough to say.

[person 1] watched in horror as 1 after another, the scrappers started scrapping each other and there was nothing anyone could do. The scrapping continued for an hour before someone finally spoke. [person 2] said, "Well, I guess they're getting scrapped!" No one laughed because they were losing millions of dollars' worth of scrappers and there was nothing they could do about it and [person 2] tried to make a joke out of the obvious. So they did the only sensible thing and scrapped [person 2]. Finally the scrappage ended when the last scrapper scrapped itself. What's the moral of the story? Don't infect scrappers with computer viri because then they can cause people to lose millions of dollars' worth of scrappers. (Disclaimer: Scrapper refers to a machine that turns other things into scrap, not a fighter, except when they scrapped [person 2].)

I've dealt with my fair share of septic tank issues, but I can't say I've ever witnessed that moment.

I didn't know
Catagolue was actually spelled differently from "catalogue" for years, that is, until I finally bothered to look at the wiki page.

Yeah, me too. I kept on typing "catalogue" into my address bar and wondering why nothing was coming up.

Is 'gauge' pronounced with a hard or soft g?
But in all seriousness, I interpreted it to be a hard then soft c, as in "kæl-si-mæn" (I don't know if that's the correct IPA translation but the c sounds are correct)

I think it's meant to be pronounced with hard c's both times, assuming that "Calcyman" is
derived from the prefix "calc-" (which it probably isn't)
