Marmalade is not real. Mayonnaise is fake. Mustard is a lie. Ketchup is a conspiracy theory.

What happened to IPV5?
IPv4:
0.255.255.255
IPv6 (example from Wikipedia):
200185a3:0000:0000:8a2e7334
So IPv8 will be:

Re: Random posts
It's the future.
The farrrr future.
Humans have become an interstellar civilization.
The Technology section of the Human Galactic Organization (HGO) has developed a "Unique Device Identity" (UDI), these are essentially IP addresses, the UDI system is described as follows:
"
The UDI of a device is the Unique Identity of that device's current connection. This ID can be used by companies, the HGO, and other people. The UDI only provides location information down to the substate, although each time the connection is changed or updated, a new UDI may be generated. The UDI is represented as a long string of tribits (0,1, or 2) with each part separated by a set amount of time decided by the connection provider (For example, SfallkoCom's separator time is 0.0778 nanoseconds)
The first part of a UDI is the type of device, such as "Personal Computer" (1012), "Personal Portable Computer (Phone)" (1011), and "Large Personal Portable Computer (Tablet)" (1010). The HGO currently recognizes 34 distinct device types.
The second part of a UDI encodes the location of the device. This uses the Standard Universal Coordinate System (SUCS). As stated before, the location contained in a UDI only gives the location down to the substate.
The third part of a UDI contains the connection ID. The system for connection IDs will not be explained for security reasons, although an example is permissible: 2101020110200210020200102012021200001111021
The third part of a UDI is the expiration time of the current connection. The time is encoded in tribits and the time is according to the time of the connection provider.
To finish off, here is an example of a UDI
1012,1202002022110010112101120112100021,2101020110200210020200102012021200001111021,2122002212020221

Re: Random posts
UDI should be in qubits and information would be transported via tachyons.
Also, a bit unrelated:
Moore’s law is a good rule of thumb. It seems like computer power does double every two years, and thus that every year we can expect to find a pattern 0.5 cells larger. This suggests that pcallahan’s 20-year-ago searches were 1024 times slower.

Is it surprising that pest mother is an anagram of stepmother? Also, stepmom = stomp ’em
We need to do that anagram thread, especially since I have a 20-puzzle challenge.

I know better than to click on a random YouTube link. For all I know it could be something horrifying like an internet meme. Look, I’m not a pop culture person.

I love e^ipi = -1 (tauists say e^itau = 1)testitemqlstudop wrote:My new favorite number is ln(-1)/sqrt(-1), and it's related to today
but you could also say ln -1/sqrt(-1) = -ipi/i = -pi. This is kinda a false proof though, because it just takes advantage of how e^-ipi should be equal to -1.
but if you make that argument you might as well try to say that i*tau = 0 and thus try to destroy everything
