Rule-lifespan

Post by toroidalet » July 4th, 2017, 9:10 pm

Similar to the old lifespan game.
The only difference is that changing the (isotropic) rule is allowed.
So, each pattern lasts 1 more generation than the last and no person can post 2 patterns in a row.(unless the thread is dead.)
Also, you aren't allowed to use the same rule or pattern the last person used.
The bounding box has to contain less than 400 cells (I forgot to put this in earlier)
1 generation:

Code: Select all

x = 4, y = 1, rule = B2n3-j/S234i
ob2o!
EDIT: more rules

3 generations:

Code: Select all

x = 5, y = 3, rule = B2cek4z6-ai/S0
4bo$2o$2bo!
(also, since drc posted their enormous 2 generation pattern before I added that rule, it gets to stay.)
