Did I call #192 yet? Probably not. Well, now I will.

Code: Select all

x = 5, y = 9, rule = B3-jqr/S01c2-in3
3bo$4bo$o2bo$2o2$2o$o2bo$4bo$3bo!

Code: Select all

x = 7, y = 5, rule = B3/S2-i3-y4i

#161-164, and multiway #202 (that is, 3217-3232/4096) finished with negative results.
#165, #166, #170, and #173 have also finished with negative results (except one octagon+blinker combination).
#58-63 and #168 are also empty.

#225-240 (in the form of 57-60/64) are now running on the laptop, and #203-215 (102-107/128, and 215/256) on the desktop.

That's all, folks!

d 14/32, 24/32, 25/32 and 28/32 all returned handfuls of p2 + p5 combinations but nothing more. I think we figured that corresponds to 105-112, 185-200 and 217-224.

#203-215 are now complete, with no results except for the usual blinker-octagon combinations.

Laptop results are now in for #57-60/64 (probably equivalent to #225-240/256).

As usual, no interesting results were reported, except for one heart in #58:

Code: Select all

Cool, that's a pretty rare pattern:

Shucks. Only 21 per 0x100 left, and no luck. This means there probably will never be a result.

One of the final results to be in:

CopperSearch version 0.4 ran with parameters 'd 35/256' and found the following patterns:

CopperSearch version 0.4 ran with parameters 'd 36/256' and found the following patterns:

Total: 3 patterns

#33 and #34 registered nil.

Losing hope: all we can find is p5 + p2 combos. :x

Because I have plenty of impatience and spare cpu cycles, I went ahead and searched some of the spaces reserved by others. Apologies to bullet51, dvgrn, and muzik:
#6, #133-143 is empty; #172, #174, #175 only have trivial p5+p2 oscillator combinations.

I did #55-56 already:

My apologies for not elaborating.
Also,

So, with that, the (current) search space is complete!
