Glider+LWSS Makes Almost-Fuse?

Post by Awesomeness » September 4th, 2009, 11:52 am

When I made my first breeder, one of the reaction I made to squeeze in a block was this:

Code: Select all

x = 43, y = 11, rule = B3/S23
o2bo$4bo$o3bo$b4o$40b2o$35bo3bob2o$36bobo$36b2o$15b2o$14bobo$16bo!
This is my first image, I'll cross my fingers and hope it works! :)

The thing next to it is what it looks like at generation 37. It looks like it's almost a fuse! I don't know if people have done this before, but you you smack it with a couple gliders or something at generation 37 and make it a clean ended fuse? if you could, it would be possible to extend a fuse with it, I'm sure.

Oh! I found something for generation 36:

Code: Select all

x = 20, y = 13, rule = B3/S23

Doesn't work, the gliders react with the production at gen. 35.
