And so on, the server lacked the Java.
But we need Java for the applet!
What to do?

Re: Wanna applet back plz!
Unfortunately, the applet is not coming back, for a couple of reasons:
- It hooked in very much with the site's server-side ASP code. As we're on a Linux server now, this would have to be rewritten entirely in PHP. It took several months to write the code the first time, and I just don't have enough time to do it again.
- It was a Java applet, and the world has more or less decided that Java applets are a relic that needs to die off (or at the very least, should not be used on a website's landing page, as we did in the past). I'm not opposed to HTML 5 alternatives, but again, I don't have the time to do it myself.

Can't you set a server in the best notebook/computer you got? (both in bandwith and CPU)
