Golly crashes when running python scripts

When I try running any python script from the latest 64-bit Golly, it crashes. I'm running Windows 10. Let me know if more info is needed. Couldn't find relevant topic in forums. Thanks!

There seems to be an incompatibility between Golly 2.7 and the latest Python 2.7.11. Try installing Python 2.7.8 (making sure it's the 64-bit version.) It seems to work according to this thread.

If that doesn't work, please report back here. If you want to try a later version than 2.7.8 -- see if 2.7.9 or 2.7.10 work okay -- that would be helpful, to figure out exactly where the problem crept in.

I installed Python 2.7.10 (64-bit) and it worked fine. Thanks again!
