So now I'm apparently not allowed to select from the dropdown menus. I just updated my iPad to iOS 10 yesterday and suspect it to be the culprit.

Yep, I had another similar report a couple of days ago. It seems iOS 10 has a few bugs (surprise, surprise). These days I never update immediately to a new release of any Apple OS. All you can do is complain to Apple (good luck) and hope they release a fix for it in a future update.

It also crashes and exits when I try to save a file with two or more spaces in its name.


Not trying to be rude, but why not release a fix for this yourself?


BTW I'd say it's fairly likely at this point that a bug affecting another app attributed to the same basic issue will already have been reported by now. Whether Apple fixes it or not, I have no idea.

So I can moan about Apple some more: it also crashes when I put a / in the rule select. So pretty much unusable for me.

All I can say is that the more people who send complaints to Apple the more likely they are to do something about fixing these bugs. And while you're at it, express your disgust that it's not possible to revert to an older iOS version.

One thing I would like to know is what "type" of change caused this error. Whatever code modification caused scrolling to stop I do not know, but the app crashing when typing spaces or slashes might be something to do with the predictive text keyboard improvements, possibly searching for some sort of invalid code resulting in a lethal error.

Anyone got any predictions?



I also get crashes when opening the edit box for RLEs, rules and the like and tapping the text, which crashes as soon as the keyboard finishes sliding up. So I get the feeling it is due to the predictive text thing, maybe there's a feature in the built-in text editor that isn't compatible.

This is literally the reason I haven't upgraded to iOS 10 yet.

My iPad (which I barely use anyway) is at 7.1.1. Good test subject for sideloading and such, although the screen is cracked

Okay, the glitches are getting indescribably bad and weird at this point. The icons are turning on every time I open the state select thing on multistate rules, and then turning off every second time. The options in Settings are doing really weird stuff, changing to one set of options when opened open time and changing to a second set the next time. I really don't know what's going on.


I don't mean to sound rude, but we're almost four years overdue for an update, and the app is pretty outdated with the improvements on PC recently. So please, just patch it up a bit.

Honestly have to agree here. It's gotten 1 update back in 2013 and hasn't been touched since.

The dropdown menus appear to have fixed themselves by themselves for some reason.

Still a lot of bugs that need to be worked out though, such as the settings alter ego thing.

I still have an iPad 2, but it's 16gb and I've used up pretty much all the space on it so yay.


Again, not my intention to be rude, but an update is direly needed at this point. Especially with that warning thing that I posted above.
