In the future, this sort of discovery belongs in the Herschel conduits thread. I know it's not a Herschel conduit, but we seem to have given up on the "elementary conduits" thread.

In this case, the conduit is two copies of a known pi -> pi. It was first found by David Buckingham and is used in gourmet.
