I managed to complete a 10000-soup haul in B3-n6n/S2-c34i. It was quite slow (only about 2.6 soups/sec), but it completed.

This rule is actually slightly different than 3458/347/4, because the yellow cells stay alive until they have a empty cell adjacent.
I manage the 5S project, which collects all known spaceship speeds in Isotropic Non-totalistic rules. I also wrote EPE, a tool for searching in the INT rulespace.

Things to work on:
- Find (7,1)c/8 and 9c/10 ships in non-B0 INT.
- EPE improvements.

Recently I found a quadratic replicator while searching for a stable rule near B3/S23-a4iq6c. (The solution was B38/S23-ac4iq6c). During the search, I found that many of the nearby rules were even more explosive; one of these has a class-R replicator that emits spaceships:

EDIT: Two growing spaceships are launched around gen 1250000, and another distinct set is launched at gen 1500000
I've run it for 7*2^10 generations and it's still going. Is there even a known way in which such a symmetric pattern can stabilise?

Theoretically it could burn down and turn asymmetric by interaction with asymmetric debris, and then this formation could occur:

There is no way for interaction with asymmetric debris. I've checked that the end point of the replicator chain slowly slides to the southeast over time, creating more symmetric debris in its wake.
EDIT: It's especially odd because each of its replicator-chain offshoots eventually is stabilized by a bomber end.
EDIT: It is theoretically possible that the replicator burns through thousands of cells' worth of debris to reach the asymmetric debris, but the probability of that happening gets lower the farther the active end gets from the original soup location. What would this even be called? x^2 - x growth?
