Wow, I guess I'm the first here from the US (and the negative side of the timezones.) Right now it's EDT, or UTC -4. I'm writing this from New Jersey.

Gosh I hate New Jersey, this state sucks. it's like everything you've ever hated about America rolled into a slightly-less-worse-than-Florida ball. I just got a 8:53 on my 1-mile run, compared to a 9:31 last time, which is a 6.7% drop. But apparently, you have to get 10% less to pass. That's ridiculous! You could never move in your lifetime and get as many points as a kid who currently has a sore throat from that horrific run-fest, but the kids who lazily walked the first time and maybe sort of jogged the second time counted as 10%. I am way more mad than I should be. I'm some sweaty skinny 16 year old androgynous floofy pale programmer and I tried my hardest, man. I competed. And I lost to kids who keep calling me 'Messi' for some reason that I don't like, and I really want them to stop but they just keep going. And this is a new school mind you, so I somehow have even less friends than the 0 I had at my old school. Haberdashery, I say! This state is awful, it's worse than Jersey shore makes it out to be, trust me, but somehow in different ways. I wish I was Adam P. Goucher's son. I wonder how that would be. I could learn calculus in 7 long tedious days if I really wanted to. And I could hear his English accent. Speaking of English accents, I really like how English people say the word reduce as 'rejuice'. That's funny. Ha-ha.

Anyway, KIRSTY IS GOD, DEAL WITH IT!

UTC-5, in the southeastern United States.

Hurricanes are awful here, but last year Hurricane Florence missed us and we got off without a hurricane. 2017 was awful though.
I also happen to be in a city that is not nearly as awful as, say, somewhere in Alabama (sorry, Alabama). It’s not a city filled with neo-nazis and people who don’t believe in climate change; by some fortunate miracle, we outmaneuvered that suffocating blob of racism and ignorance. And of course it does not exist in the southwestern US.
