Normally, you can only get up to size 200. But Aidan Mode is magic and can stack sizes.
Closing tag masking.

Normally impossible.
Oh, what's that? You want to get down to normal size?
Well, if you try to use [/size] then it doesn't work.
But we can fight fire with fire.
Down to 200!
We're at normal size again!

If I'm not mistaken, size is a multiplier to how large the font is.
And stacking is just multiplying the results together.
I guess that the quotes interrupt the routine that would otherwise return the size to its normal value.
This text is 1.25 times the normal size.
Use
to go back to normal size.

If you use the wiki tags as the masked code, it formats the signature as part of the text. Also, you can merge two effects together.
With that being said,

Yeah, but that post makes it impossible to see any posts below on a mobile device. It just goes beyond the point where it could be deemed useful.

Indeed, and it also makes the page somewhat laggy. It's not quite as annoying as the browser-crashing Aidan mode thread (which I reported to the admins so it could be sanitised, but apparently they don't care about it), but it's close. Please edit your post, testitem!
