The first of those works in Life -- it's octagon 3.
The third of those is quite unique in the fact that it's a billiard table and has exterior sparks. (The second one does too, but it's more of a hassler instead of a true SL-based billiard table.)
The fourth reminds me of Karel's p15.

We can safely say that the discoverer of that oscillator was unknown, actually. It works in B3/S234w, which means someone must have come across it in the distant past (when non-totalistic rules were just kicking into action).
