Achim's p11 is a period-11 oscillator discovered by Achim Flammenkamp on August 4, 1994.[1] In February, 2000 Mark Niemiec created a 96-glider synthesis for this oscillator.[2] It was later improved to 75 gliders by Jeremy Tan on July 11, 2019,[3] followed by 63 gliders due to improvements by Matti Ward and toroidalet later the same day.[4][5]
