Dieter and Peter's glider gun collection

Dieter and Peter's glider gun collection comprises a complete collection of (pseudo-period if necessary) glider guns of all periods from 14 to 999, together with a supplementary collection of certain periods from 1000 to 9999. The guns are chosen to have the smallest bounding box area of any of their period, so the collection is actively updated whenever a smaller gun on a particular period is discovered.

The collection was originally created and maintained by Dietrich Leithner and Peter Rott, before Jason Summers took over the maintenance. The p14-999 collection had subsequently evolved into a Git repository led by Chris Cain. Currently, the collection is maintained collaboratively at Catagolue's glider-synthesis database.
