Odd test tube baby is a period-2 oscillator similar to test tube baby, but a tub is used to stabilize one of the corners.

Odd test tube baby is about the fifty-fifth most common naturally-occurring oscillator in Achim Flammenkamp's census[1] and the 59th most common oscillator on Adam P. Goucher's Catagolue. There are about 35 regular test tube babies and 27 tub test tube babies for every odd test tube baby.

Glider synthesis

A 6-glider synthesis of this oscillator was found in March 2021.[2]
