Notability

I doubt this object is notable, since many fuses are generally only novel, unless they have special properties. Perhaps it would be a good idea to add an image and link to RLE under Baker instead and write something like: "Another fuse producing loaves is baker 2, shown above". Also, as this is your very first page, I would recommend you look at the Notability guidelines and the like. Moosey (talk) 12:01, 4 July 2019 (UTC)

Welcome to the site! I'm assuming that this is a pattern you have discovered yourself and decided to add to LifeWiki. Please correct me if I'm wrong though; if this pattern is actually notable for a reason I'm not aware of, I'd be happy to take back what I say here.

Anyway, to add on to what Moosey said, there are also notability guidelines for topics that are mentioned in other articles even if they don't necessarily get their own page:

• It is similar to another pattern that already has its own page in LifeWiki, and at least one of the following two conditions hold:
  • It does something different or has some different property that is relevant to the usefulness of the pattern (such as a smaller bounding box). Generally, a less useful version of a pattern should not be mentioned unless the following property applies to it.
  • It is historically significant or relevant to the given pattern (such as being the original form in which the listed pattern was found).
• It, along with one or more other patterns, as a group constitute what would be considered a notable topic.

”

I don't want you to take this as discouragement from editing the wiki, as this is a common mistake made by many newer editors. However, it's important to remember why these guidelines are in place. If everyone started adding their own discoveries and other miscellaneous information to the wiki, it would quickly become cluttered with information that's irrelevant to everyone except the person who originally added it. Readers would have a hard time distinguishing what's important, and other editors would have a hard time maintaining each page to keep it up to a standard of quality.

It is recommended you sign your talk page comments by adding four tildas to the end: ~~~~ This will automatically create a signature with links to your personal user page and talk page, and makes it easier for other editors to see who is saying what in a talk page discussion.
