Lifespan per Initial Population, abbreviated L/I, is a measure of the quality of a methuselah. As it only relies on initial population and not on the methuselah's bounding box, it is considered inferior to L/MCPS (Lifespan per MCPS). This measure was first suggested by Don Woods under the name of "age to initial size"[1]
