I've reanalyzed this as a methuselah - perhaps the QB is not too long-lived for its size, but it is a naturally occurring exploding shape that can be shuttled and hassled around much like B-heptominoes or lumps of muck. (I actually consider all these shapes - also, traffic lights & honey farm - to be in a category I call 'seeds', which would be distinct from actual methuselahs like acorn.) Tho perhaps a methuselah analysis should start from the 9-cell pattern 11 cells prior to the shape listed:
