# Talk:Tlog(log(t)) growth

From LifeWiki

Kiran (talk) 16:34, 16 August 2015 (UTC)This is definitely not the same as sawmill, in sawmill a fixed amount of filters with infinitely many different states produce a stream of gliders or rakes from the end of the row while in Tlog(log(t)) growth a lengthening row of filters each with a finite number of states sprout switch engines from the sides. Also the growth rate of Tlog(log(t)) growth cannot be achieved with sawmill.

- Ran into a technical difficulty while working through proposed deletions today: I'm not clear on how exactly the infobox "type" parameter creates a category, and how I can keep the system from creating a nonexistent "Infinite growth patterns" category, now that I've deleted that category in favor of plain "Infinite growth". If I change the type to "Infinite growth", I get an "Infinite growths" category link, which isn't what I want either. (?) Dvgrn (talk) 17:11, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
