A new variant of the P190 (5,2) oblique ship has appeared on Catagolue. This one functions in the same basic manner as the previous spaceship, but the colliding R's are phased slightly differently. To reiterate a discovery mentioned on the Soup search results in rules other than Conway's life thread, a new (5,2)c/190 oblique spaceship has appeared from a C1 soup for this rule. The new ship is easy to synthesize in 8 gliders, since it is just two Rs and a boat. (In my first go at this I missed that the R + beehive just becomes another R).
