Re: Blockish and Blockic or blockish and blockic?

For once, I agree with confocaoid. Bi-blocks don't count as blockic. Removing one cell from a bi-block, hitting a bi-block with a glider, or trying to use the two-block edge of the bi-block as a catalyst doesn't do the same thing as a single block.

Re: Unicode superscripts in page names?

I support the move for all single-digit numbers. The problem with higher numbers is that some fonts place 123 in a different superscript from 0456789; 10 is the lowest number with this issue.

AFAIK the current name of that p19 was chosen by the discoverer.
While mostly irrelevant to this discussion, I was actually the one who named it.

That should never have been called a "wevzy" (which is a misspelling to begin with), as the apgcode it came from had it as part of the emulator, not the hassled object.

Don't you mean edit articles? Actually 'pages' - articles are just those pages directly intended for LifeWiki readers (basically, the main namespace and the OCA namespace). Userpages, templates, talk pages, etc. aren't articles. "Article" has a completely different meaning on LifeWiki than it does ...

Does there exist an "all-soups" census (that, obviously enough, tabulates all soups) in a given rule? Not quite clear on the question -- you don't specify a bounding box, and without that, there isn't any such thing as "all soups". You might be looking for this existing apgsearch hack , though. It doesn't have a name. It's just blind luck that it happens to be in three oscillators (the others being 45P25 and Raucci's p102); it's not that common.
