This is true on Discord as well.

I've gone ahead and moved the article to "Foxclock" -- removing the original article's CamelCase naming, but still leaving me feeling somehow as if I'm suddenly reading a Dr. Seuss book.

Re: The Hunting of the New Herschel Conduits

Crossposting a couple of new Herschel conduits based on Mitchell Riley's amazingly high-clearance HRx93E -- the converter that we've all been waiting for that lets E-heptominoes into the club of Obviously Definitely Useful Signal Types. Repeat time is 116 for both Herschel conduits, and potentially ...

Re: The Hunting of the Elementary Conduits

Good eye. The formal name of the first part is HRx93E . No hits on the forum when I search that, so I think it's new. Yup. The E-to-B that it attaches to is known -- EF42B, just consisting of one fishhook eater -- so HRx93E + EF42B + BFx59H = HR194H. The HRx93E seems to deliver its E output in a si...

Re: The Hunting of the Elementary Conduits

isn't that just an H to E attached to an E to B? It sure seems to be! But it's not a previously known H-to-E, is it? That B-heptomino ends up having a really nice output clearance, and the whole thing ends up being impressively Spartan -- and yet I don't find any hits on "R194" or "HR194H" on the f...

(What is the longest-lived known 3G collision?) There doesn't seem to be an easy answer in the list of long-lived methuselahs ; Blom takes four gliders to build, and most of the rest of that list needs 5G or more. Re: The Hunting of the Elementary Conduits

Basically "CP0" has been chosen completely arbitrarily for now -- maybe there's an obvious choice for that, but the stamp collection can be recalibrated once that's figured out. The important part is collecting the sixteen options that make a complete set, and then we can figure out the best labels...
