Re: Glider Destruction Of Still Lives, Oscillators, Etc.
How many gliders does it take to destroy an n-fold hat (is there an official term for it?)
For example, this is a 1-fold hat:
This is a 2-fold hat:
etc.
For example, this is a 1-fold hat:
Code: Select all
x = 5, y = 4, rule = B3/S23
2ob2o$bobo$bobo$2bo!
Code: Select all
x = 7, y = 5, rule = B3/S23
4bo$2obobo$bobobo$bobob2o$2bo!

For the canoe/snake, it can obviously be done in 2. One to remove the pre-block, and one to remove the remaining block.

Re: Thread For Your Accidental Discoveries
I don't know if this has been discovered yet, but I found that the under-weight spaceship (UWSS) eventually becomes a fleet: x = 7, y = 33, rule = B3/S23 2bo$3bo$o2bo$b3o7$3bo$4bo$o3bo$b4o6$4bo$5bo$o4bo$b5o7$5bo$6bo$o5bo$b6o! Too bad you should've used 69. Also I realized Apple Bottom's name have a, uh, LGBT meaning and "Apple Top" won't make it much better If I'm not wrong, 69 was taken on Geometry Dash by then. 68+1 70-1 23*3 sqrt(4761) +[->-[--<]>-]>++ 11"+"*"""**++ JP21.favorite_number() Continued: iiisdsiiiii ::*::...

So I was thinking... I like joking and imitating... Here are some fun quotings: I found a statorless p2: x = 0, y = 0, rule = B3/S23 3bo$3bobo$bo$6b2o$2o$6bo$2bobo$4bo! I accidentally found a tub with this reaction: x = 0, y = 0, rule = B3/S23 bo$bo$bo7$7bo$7bo$2o4b2o$2o3b2o! Here is a very long st...

This is probably known, but I like this reaction x = 4, y = 10, rule = B2n3/S23-q b2o$b2o5$b2o$2b2o$obo$2o! Here I made a tripole synthesis using it x = 116, y = 42, rule = B2n3/S23-q 77bo$77bobo$77b2o7$104bo$39bo63bo$39bobo61b3o$39b2o3$37bo64bo$37bobo 61bo$37b2o62b3o4$102b2o2b2o$102b2o2bobo$o$b2o27...

Re: Guess the sequence [GAME]
This is just “make a sequence” now
One of these CA-related words is a hint, and I’ll remove half of them each day:
Code: Select all
0, 0, 3, 4, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 12, 16, 0, 16, 5, 4, 0, 28, 0, 16
Code: Select all
