Re: Affected: 35678/24/5

Here's another one that grows, but along the edge... it soon makes another one of those very annoying things you can't get rid of, but this one actually forms naturally and debris doesn't stop it either.... Yes -- I ran into the Very Annoying Thing several times myself while running patterns in 356...

Re: Affected: 35678/24/5

oh, I think we have different opinions, I personally like chaos coming to a stop and a lot more 'study-able' and analyse-able' being created, that's probably why I like 35678/24/5, but I guess both could be studied and related to each other anyway, so yeah...

But once they are in place, there indestructible and can get quite annoying, also, there's this really annoying thing that I c...

Re: Affected: 35678/24/5

It teleports this to the other side of the box like a cross-surface The thing it fires out of the teleportation reflects, eventually, you get 2 of those travelling with exact rotational symmetry. I find it surprising that from the situation described you can put a FeatherWSS anywhere in the box and ...

Usually when this happens, it is because the result of the ...

This rule is interesting especially because of its ALMOST exploding tubs, and whenever a pattern is about to die out, a tub usually appears and explodes outwards until its debris destroys it, for example, this 8 cell pattern lasts for 8400+ gens. x = 9, y = 3, rule = 238/346/3 .A5.A$A.A3.A.A$.A5.A! ...
