By carefully choosing a corner bun edge-shooter and applying it to known long^n snake syntheses, I am able to reduce xs15_69eg8oz321 , xs16_255m853zw32 and xs18_255m853zca1 ... and ... xs18_255m853zw346 synthesis. Replacing the bun with a century seems much harder to do in 3G, though. I generalized...

components_v4.rle has a three-glider collision that works. Nice! that slipped my mind when looking for a completion. This leads to a bunch of constellation components. From my perspective, a superconductor operating at room temperature and ambient pressure is as "too good to be true" as a natural elementary c/61 spaceship in Conway's Life.

A revolution in computer designing stimulated by superconductors would surely enhance soup-searching speed, though.
