A Seeds-like 3-color rule in which there are no still lifes and a blinker explodes into a kaleidoscope of colorful "psychedelic" patterns.

1. A cell is born, if surrounded by 2 cells of the same color. The newborn cell takes the next color in the cycle (red->green,green->blue,blue->red).
2 A cell survives, if surrounded by 2 or 3 cells of the same color as the surviving cell.


A seed of the "psychedelic" pattern. parts of which recur in a fractal-like fashion within the pattern itself:

I would not call it a breeder, because the results of the explosion are chaotic and dynamic. A dynamic space filler, perhaps? It does not stabilize as a normal breeder, because this ubiquitous exploding pattern reappears recursively and causes constant change. Not entirely chaotic though, as you can clearly concentric circles and other structures.

My other 3-color rules that I'm actively researching, Gluons and Gluonic, are full of natural breeders in strict sense, which produce lines of puffers, guns and replicators.

I have another rule called Tiles that produces all kinds of natural regularly structured breeders:
