Great work!
Immigration is three-state, two colors of live cells, shown here by sparse horizontal lines or (what looks at a distance like) completely filled metacells.

The figure-eight pattern runs great at any step range around 2^20 - 2^24, once Golly works its way through a full cycle and gets its hash tables populated. The period is 16777216 = 2^24, and the size is an equally gargantuan 327680x327680 -- a very nice piece of work!

There is another way to emit T-ships sideways with 3c/20o technology, namely by using a reverse-Heisenburp to retrieve data stored in cloverleaves with passing spaceships. (I call it reverse since in a normal Heisenburp you detect a moving signal with a static device, but here you detect a static signal with a moving device.) Two signals that can be read in this manner have a separation of at least 400 ticks.

To the past self: if you have calculated a bit more, you would see that (v + u) / (v - u) in this case equals to (10+3)/(10-3) = 13/7. But the intervals and base period p measured in ticks should be finite positive integers, which cannot contain an infinite amount of 7's among prime factors, which is actually required to ensure that every interval of the form p*(13/7)^n is an integer. So without regulators to round up the fractional intervals you are unable to construct a caber tosser with c/2 and 3c/20 and a stationary reflecting&duplicating base.

On the other hand, if the faster spaceship is c/4 instead, then the ratio (5+3)/(5-3) = 4 is a nice round number and a power of 2, suggesting another caber tosser design. Short of knowledge of interactions between xq4_nmkz31 and xq20_dadz373, I beginned with building a backrake. It turns out that the minimum viable period is 120, as shown below. Certainly it can be reduced with a smaller p120 siderake on the left, but this is not the goal at the moment.

Speaking of plans, I reviewed earlier posts of this thread and there was a crude one back in early 2020, the ancient era when little was understood about signal circuitry. Skip this part of analysis if impatient.

In my opinion point 1 can be expanded to
Develop T-ship synthesis for everything, standard or slow-salvo ones, starting with exhaustively enumerating collisions between 3T, 4T, T+cloverleaf or other common objects, and building respective databases.
Even in plain Life, projects like 3G enumeration and octohash have meet numerous issues and limitations regarding at least search space and duplicate/missing results. Considering that the cloverleaf has a period of 240, and that p28 and p44 oscillators are also common, and that all of these are sparky enough to induce tons of uninteresting results, equivalent projects here will be faced with bigger challenge. Definitely need some help from experienced enthusiasts here.
Point 4 for 3c/20o and 14c/92d is in a slightly better situation, but the art of engineered spaceships is certainly not mature.
Finally, I have been omitting point 3 more or less in practice, because more efforts are made in stable technologies and that has turned out to be very fruitful. Compact and fast periodic devices like in Life's p30 and p46 realm can still be favorable sometimes, though, so don't give it up!
Another item to be added to the list is the search for low-period sparkers, especially p7 domino, p10 domino and p11 dot ones as they will allow for more oscillators to be built.

In summary: REQUEST FOR COOPERATION!

EDIT: the p48 is fixed with either of two p4 sparkers. The form that will be included in the oscillator collection will use the left one (which was also used in a p92 gun) for a slightly smaller population.

Have you tried my search program yet? It should work fine, since the two common things that would cause it to fail (S0 or S1e present or common natural c/4 spaceships larger than 3×3) do not exist in this rule.

Honestly, no. Most of the oscillators were found by manually placing stable catalysts one by one against a selected active region, replacing broken ones if any, and figuring out how to complete a cycle. Simple still lives like tub, fishhook and xs12_2523ad2 are already versatile enough for most purposes as I understand them, and the ocassional appearances of sparkers (e.g. p12 #11, p76 #5, p92 #6, p128 #3 in the current collection) simply indicate that I have not been able to get any stable catalyst to work.

There is definitely some search space out here not yet reached with multiple active regions in some symmetry, though. No shortage of potential starting points:

The reaction has been used everywhere for a long time. The tricky part is accommodating a nearby tub catalyst, which sometimes cannot be replaced with a fishhook tail due to B5j. In these cases, I have to let the B-heptomino travel farther before converting it to a T-ship.
