DOUBLE EDIT: I think it would be worthwhile to post some more oscillators from life which can have B8 in the rotor yet survive otherwise unaffected (may do the same for B3/S238). In the meantime, here's hook with tail's p14 which has a B8 condition that otherwise doesn't change the pattern's evolution.
