B2e3iy4j7e/S23-r has a lot of cool stuff (see here for more details), but my computer won't cooperate. It runs at ~1 soup per second before getting stuck a few hundred soups in. ~~~~

Yeah, that tends to happen with rules with common replicators (that's more likely to be the culprit than the puffer).

Something went wrong while running 1 million soups in B3ainr4ce5cn6cek7c8/S2k3-qy4aent5iq6-a78. It gets stuck just befoe it hits 100000.

That can happen if you have rules that explode, but only very rarely. My best advice for those kinds of rules is to run smaller haul sizes, so if one gets stuck, you lose less CPU time's work.

Hmm... if you look at the rulestrings, that rule is a relative (albeit distant) of Emitters (B2i3ai4cei5c6c7/S2-ae3acein4-t5-aq6cei7c8), which indeed support many different guns using a "bullet"-shaped rotor like that one. But I'll apgsearch this rule, it also seems interesting.

B2-a3q5/S13-qy5678 in D4_+1 is interesting to me, but if you're going to submit soups to Catagolue, please use the hacked apgsearch script, and not apgluxe, as apgluxe doesn't seem to classify most of the objects correctly. It runs about 2 soups per minute on my Pentium G2030+4GB RAM.

EDIT: B2e3in/S12, while not preserving that spaceship, is very similar in dynamics and apgsearchable. It showcases diagonal skewgutter symmetry in its natural xq23:

Larger soups explode in that rule (never stabilize apparently). Probably going to keep apgsearch from lasting long in that rule.
