Those tripped me up once. So, out of curiosity, I put two gliders one cell apart, and they start spinning. I think, "Hey, I've discovered a new oscillator!" And then I look at the top of the window and instead of [Life] it says [Morley].
There is life on Mars. We put it there with notcompletelysterilized rovers.
And, for that matter, the Moon, Jupiter, Titan, and 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko.

Someone now really can play with alternating rules ( life in odd, B3/S23ijn4a in even generations) Incredibly many oblique spaceships could be generated with this method!
