First off, there are many QOBS. The original is in the rule B3ai4a/S3ai4a5ai6ac7c8, and is this:

Rules with qobs usually expand... a LOT. even if they are stable, they can grow to enormous sizes before stabilizing.
EDIT: this is also a qob, but it's hollow:

Multiple bloomers in B3ai4a/S3i4a5ai6ac78 create intricate networks of "rivers" interacting.
