In this close rule the tub evolves into a 4-block hassling tub p4

Code: Select all

x = 3, y = 6, rule = B3-nqr4e6/S235-nqr
bob$obo$bob!
In this close-yet-very-explosive rule, the T is an oscillator and it has a chaotic growth engine whose speed I don't know:

Code: Select all

x = 3, y = 6, rule = B3-nqr4a6/S235-nqr
o$
o$
bobbo$
bbooo!
In this close rule there's an 2c/4 pi ship:

Code: Select all

x = 3, y = 6, rule = B3-nqr4i6/S235-nqr
bbo$
ooboo$
ooboo!
in that rule, the T is a high-period puffer which is not c/2:

Code: Select all

x = 3, y = 6, rule = B3-nqr4i6/S235-nqr
3o$bo!

In this close but more explosive rule there's this high period oscillator
x = 3, y = 6, rule = B3-nqr4n6/S235-nqr
bbo$
booo$
ooboo$
booo$
bbo!
Why the code tags does not.work? It is p23.

It is sparky and can hassle a block.

In this close rule there's this sparky p10.

Code: Select all

x=0,y=0,rule=B3-nqr4w6/S235-nqr
3o$obo$3o!
In this close rule there's this diagonal spaceship which is both a bookend and a B-ship.

4c/26d.

Code: Select all

x=0,y=0,rule=B3-nqr4z6/S235-nqr
oo$obbo$booo!
#C [[ STOP 8 ]]
In the original rule, there's this p5 sort-of-pipsquirter:

Code: Select all

x = 3, y = 6, rule = B3-nqr6/S235-nqr
boo$
obbo$
obbo$

More in the original rule:

Code: Select all

x=0,y=0,rule=B3-nqr6/S235-nqr
3o3$3o!
The DotPuffers rule, which appears to be LESS explosive

Code: Select all

x=0,y=0,rule=B3-nqr6/S0235-nqr

p8 in the original rule!

Speaking of this rule, it also have this p12:

Code: Select all

x = 3, y = 5, rule = B2i3-nqr6/S235-nqr

I guess the phi spark doesn't die out in this rule? Interesting. 8)

In that rule, you can make 4c/36d 2-engine block puffer. However, I don't have access to Golly and can't post the pattern(All my works, including the previous works, are done inLifeViewer so there's those strange RLEs.) Is it the first DIAGONAL puffer?

EDIT: New block puffer found! I haven't try to give a time offset yet.

EDIT: A third block puffer!

The seed is actually also a failed 2D replicator:

x = 3, y = 3, rule = B3-nqr6/S235-nqr
3o$obo$3o!

In this rule, there's no dirty puffers, only the T one.
And blinker fuses tends to either burn ckeanly or give up.
I assume this is interesting behaviour. EDIT:
I forgot to mentiont the interesting fact that a ooo$obo$ooo!
evolves into a “big” traffic light while it evolves into a traffic light in CGOL

Code: Select all

x=0,y=0,rule=B3-nqr5e6/S235-nqr

Here's a rule with a dirty puffer that decides to not be dirty anymore

Code: Select all

x=0,y=0,rule=B3-nqr5k6/S235-nqr

I'm looking forward to a methuselah that does not explode in the original Puffers rule

Here's a 484M

Code: Select all

x=0,y=0,rule=B3-nqr6/S235-nqr

759M

Code: Select all

Ok, I can use Golly now. So the diagonal block puffer in a close rule I mentioned before:

Code: Select all

x = 10, y = 8, rule = B3-nqr4z6/S235-nqr
2o$o2bo$b3o2$7b2o$7bo$7bobo$8b2o!
Block puffer 2:

Code: Select all

x = 10, y = 9, rule = B3-nqr4z6/S235-nqr
2o$o2bo$b3o3$7b2o$7bo$7bobo$8b2o!
High-period diagonal puffer!

Code: Select all

x = 10, y = 9, rule = B3-nqr4z6/S235-nqr
2o$o2bo$bobo$b3o2$7b2o$7bo$7bobo$8b2o!

It's a shame that the bipole that it puffs out isn't spared.
